Dr. Behrens is an OB-GYN and has been with the Saint Paul VI Institute since September 1, 2021. She was born and raised on the family farm in Carroll, Iowa. Dr. Behrens earned both her undergraduate degree in biology and her medical degree at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She then traveled to Buffalo, New York where she completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Sisters of Charity Hospital through the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Following that, she returned to Omaha, Nebraska to complete a fellowship in medical and surgical NaProTECHNOLOGY here at the Institute. Dr. Behrens particularly enjoys robotic surgery while working with women who experience endometriosis and infertility. She is very excited about developing her practice here at Saint Paul VI Institute. In her free time she enjoys performing as a classically trained vocalist, playing volleyball, and cheering on the Nebraska Huskers and the Buffalo Bills!
